Included with integral 3 point safety harnesses the RIB Altaïr seat/bed has been fully crash tested under EC Directive 76/115. It has attained the highest Euro NCAP certification and when combined with under chassis reinforcement by Camper Envy represents the safest option currently available. Your RIB Altaïr Seat/Bed like all elements of your conversion will be installed to the strictest standards and will come with a VSCCS compliance certificate ensuring Australian compliance.
Functionality
All RIB Altaïr Seat/Bed’s supplied and installed by Camper Envy come with a 220mm sliding mechanism as standard. This mechanism allows for unrivalled levels of versatility and practicality. In the forward position rear passengers are brought closer to the front of the vehicle creating a vast boot space. Combine this with the unique ratcheted rear element that can be left horizontal, angled or folded up as required and you have an optional two level rear boot space which provides superior levels of space, flexibility and organisation.

The RIB Altaïr seat/bed is equipped with a fully flat sleeping surface featuring Scopema’s patented 3D mattress overlay. The ISO patented 3D structure guarantees a comfortable night’s sleep. The three dimensional multi-net allows excess heat and moisture to escape out the sides, this ensures a balanced and consistent level of warmth in the bed, ideal for comfortable, uninterrupted sleep. The material’s flexibility with its unique orthopaedic cushioning provides optimal anatomic body support in every position.
